...annnnnd finished. This anime was excellent. Somehow, all 25 episodes managed to remain interesting and the show never got boring for me. I didn't think I'd enjoy it this much but something about it was just really nice.... welllll I guess the whole cast IS composed mainly of smoking hot babes but still, it's not like it was riddled with fan-service or anything.
Hmm, I know a lot of people love Idolm@ster but, maybe it's just me, but I found this anime kind of... useless. But that's not quite the right word. What I mean is, I didn't feel anything watching it(though I'm still halfway through), except for a few times it made me chuckle and one time when the only girl I like made me cry by singing. Sorry I don't remember her name but it was quite the scene, when the producer went to find her and she was practicing her song.
But that's pretty much all I liked so far. I liked the first ep when producer-san was behind the cam, and I even thought it would be interesting if the whole anime was like that, but well, who cares.
Maybe it's because I've seen these kind of scenes time and time again where they "try their best" and so on and so forth, the evil girls from the other company who hate them for whatever reason... etc. Now, watching this made me think "hey this isn't too bad but I've already seen it a thousand times"
I'm going to finish it because I enjoy knowing a lot of animes ('cause I like to talk about them, but watching them IS the main entertainment... most of the time), and I never stop halfway through anything, but I was really disappointed. For me, it totally didn't live up to its fame.
