To Aru Majutsu no Index movie announced

No actual information has been released as to plot or release date just telling us that hey we're making a movie wait for it.

Oh God I just came. I really hope it isnt a summary movie or something silly like that. Theres enough material in the light novels to make a movie of it. I really*10^10 hope they cover the remaining novels of the main series. Oh god yes this made my day...



WAIT WAIT WAIT. A movie is only 100 minutes or so long. The remaining light novels could make 2 more anime seasons. Gah. I dont think they can get that much content into a movie without cutting alot of stuff. I hope they dont cut alot of stuff to make it into a movie and I dont want a movie to be some totally separate stand alone arc or something. Now I dont know what to think about this.

i really thought they were going to continue the series but instead they made movie AWESOME

hmmmm I love the idea of a movie but the only problem is if they continue the story we wont be able to see it for a while after its out. i would rather them recap or do more of a naruto-bleach thing where they go on a totally new story even if it is like filler.

I was actually wondering about original material when I realized it all comes down to mixing a combination of the following ingredients:

Magical or scientific conflict, punching women in the face, preaching to enemies, bitten by Index, a tsundere Biri Biri, an imouto army, and an Accelerator/Last Order cameo.

Theres only 4 (maybe 5 I cant remember exact details of the arc) women, all antagonists at the time, that get punched and 8 men

I cant wait for this, but like stated above, I hope its not just a summary because the end of season 2 left me wanting more.
