Appearance is only part of it, I believe the personality and the way a character thinks is an important factor in determining if they are likeable or not, and that's what makes a story interesting.

I liked Risa best, shame she is so minor character in the series. Of those I prefer Saki. In my world she has hots for Lala, she is just being all tsundere about it. ;pi know since shes minor i didnt remember her until after i set the poll
