In the nights of Tokyo, mysterious deaths involving the 'Reborn Dead' occur. People that are disappearing at night suddenly reappear during the day as a corpse. Not only that, but as the corpses are sent to the morgue to be autopsied, they disappear again leaving signs showing that they escaped themselves.
To fight these 'Reborn Dead' and to prevent more deaths, mysterious transfer student, Tatsuma Hiyuu, and delinquent student, Kyouichi Houraiji, stay up every night to fight and solve what's causing this. Along with the rest of their group, who all have supernatural powers, they soon realize that a greater threat, which involves even more powerful demons, is near.

Good show that dosent get nearly enough credit. Its got some great fighting and music but the plot takes a serious downfall near the end. I would still recommend it to anyone though so judge for yourself. It was good enough to get a season 2 so that says something in and of itself.
I've always seen this in stores, but never bothered to check it out. I think I just might now after looking at the pic. :D
About the topic pic. you upload it from your computer.

You cannot add a topic image to a topic that has already been created. As for why it didn't upload - you probably clicked preview before submit. You need to specify the path to the image once again after doing so.
As for the show - watched both seasons which is already a recommendation of a sorts.
Good art, nice music, solid fights and likable characters.
There are some serious issues though...
First of all - the producers did something unbelievably stupid in season one - they stuffed an overly large part of the budget into the first episode resulting in a serious quality drop later on. Also the final episode of season one had some majorly fucked up art. I dunno whether they were on drugs at that time or decided to allow a 4-year old kid to do it for them but it looked like completely different show (dunno whether the late DVDs fixed this in any way)
Season 2 has standard/consistent quality all the way through.
Story
Season 1 kept it's ground I'd say. Nothing to sing praises about but it was developed, had drama and a conclusion of a sorts.
Season 2 on the other hand ... fucked up big time. It was going pretty well for the first half (they even added a very nice tragedy to spice things up) until they they suddenly decided to refocus on a different enemy, throw a crapload of hard to understand details and revelations and deprive it of any buildup whatsoever. The result was in the series practically ending at ep 10 (not on a high note I might add) and the 2 remaining episodes being goddamn painful to watch.
My opinion
Watch season 1 for a solid, dark, nicely paced series about martial arts and and supernatural shit. If you like it - advance to season 2 but be prepared for a serious disappointment at the end.
BTW - the series served as a nice practice/testing ground and allowed the producers to animate something highly superior later on - Ga-Rei:Zero. Both titles share the same mood and many other similarities.

Alright thanks. Yeah I completely agrree with you on that the ending is horrendous. Season 2 actually ticked me off because of how convoluted things were. It felt like they just slapped some stuff together without actually answering anything.
Now that I remember, I've still got 6 episodes left to watch to finally get this "emo" series over with.
The soundtrack was great btw. Had a decent amount of fighting in it which was pretty enjoyable to watch. What else can I say... well, Das had practically said it all (I guess) - pretty much a so-so "emo" series all in all. :)
OP/ED themes were very fitting for this "emo" series. ACID (definitely is a good j-rock band)

IMO, this should have served as a better topic image.
From what I hear, I'm probably not inclined to watch the second season, but I still do just because I wanna see what happens. What fansub group do you guys watch? I started watching this, but the fansub groups were all over the place, and since I usually go by one fansub group for a series, I stopped watching the second season.

Season 2 ? No real choice for now. KSN ( http://subs.kesenai.net/ ) are the only ones that finished it. Afterwards they released a 'dvd' version (a bit clearer and in higher resolution) but those are still mediocre-quality xvids. Everyone else dropped it at some point.
Last thing I checked the series was still on their IRC bots and torrents should also be working.

I agree I was just in a hurry making so i decided to just go with that one ill change it now and add the other op's and ed's to the top. Thanks for the help
I just watched this anime and the last few episodes of season 2 confused the living hell out of me. It ends abruptly and confusingly. the last two are basically extra episodes. And reading from wikipedia a certain character Kiki Manbennaku is supposedly to transfer to their school but I never saw her. Did some guy at wiki just troll me? And that final battle was epic and all but it too ends abruptly. Hiyuu does something and that ends it. Anyway what the hell.
Season 1 was good. Should have stopped there. Season 2 made me rage and caused me to break one of my keyboards.
