This Episode was really great
I love it but it is really confusing can someone help me.

This are the Parts of the Puzzle that i have so long..
Or better to say what i think about the anime now ..
But don t listen the spoiler if you didn't watch the anime so far ...

BTW, I never played the game...

oh man that shannon thing was really shitty when he asked if there are only 5 corpses and then the doctor replys that there is a sixth.....that was so damn horrible.

but on the other hand, do you really need to kill 5 people in the second episode i mean seriously that totaly reduces the number of suspects and give the impression that there was more then one involved in this.

and i also felt the going mad of battler after they dicovered the corpses were a bit off....like a regisseure saying "okay now go crazy !"





the art is a little bit off, but as usual from a 07th expansion release since higurashi looked equaly and they are only a small group consisting of 3 members

I am noticing that in the series thread neither this or the previous episode thread, the epitaph has not been posted, this should clear some things up and/or provide more things to discuss nano desu

In other words, if someone spoils this, I'm gonna eat his liver ... not that it isn't obvious that the loli is the killer. It's always the loli.

i promise not to spoil you, i am just providing relevant information to help ppl piece together there own thoughts on the current events in the series nano desu, and try to be a little understanding of the loli, it isn't always the loli, thou I am not gonna argue about it, I just like my lolis sweet and innocent, thou what 7th Expansion does with lolis is truly awesome as well nano desu ^_^

Interesting epitaph but it rather gives away a few things... :roll:

For me, the episode wasn't too exciting to watch. The suspense was neither there, as we all probably have seen what's coming. By taking notice of the clock, anyone would have guessed the number of those who may have already died. The censoring was so terrible that it shouldn't have been implemented. It only made the particular discovery scene seem surreal not to mention the characters' unconvincing reactions; if there's any consolation, it was Jessica. Where's the fuckin emphasis?! 6 people, blood relatives even, were brutally killed... I would have at least expected Battler to show more emotion than merely standing there, screaming in disbelief. (I sure do hope to see far better episodes than this)

On a side note, Maria is really beginning to get on my nerves. If the last episode's wailing wasn't already too much, this time, she just had to sit in front of the TV and act like any normal kid should do... it was actually funny but I kinda disliked hearing such a brash reply from her. Anyway, her "possessed" look while reading the letter was so unnecessary imo. No impact was made either way, for there wasn't really a need for any.

All in all, I feel that something is terribly missing in the series. I just couldn't determine what that is atm. It could only be me, but that's how I seriously feel right now. Oh, and I feel sorry for George, but Shannon's demise was undeniably the most predictable out of the six. Hey, look at the bright side, at least she had managed to give him the answer that he was looking for. (sorry, my humor works best for those kind of things) - in any case, there wasn't much of a chance to get to know Shannon's character better for anyone to be able to really get attached to her, making her passing nothing close to being a big deal (for me).

Looking at it on a different angle, the younger generation lost at least a loved-one, except for poor Battler who've lost two. I'm wondering if the deaths are predetermined or just purely random, and if the fact that Beatrice is a supernatural being, a witch for that matter, has got something to do with it. If so, it's gonna be a bitch, as if saying that there's nothing impossible in this series. Plus, it's quite doubtful that one person, alone, can pull of such a killing spree...

What I'm thinking is the possibility of not only having but one main culprit all throughout the series of murders that's soon to follow/continue onwards. It's somewhere along the lines of killer 1 murdering the six in this episode, while in the next murder event, it's killer 1's turn to get murdered by killer 2 or someone else aside from killer 1...

Well someone is taking the epitaph as instructions on how to get the four wishes. I do not believe it is Beatrice killing right now, but I believe there to be a 19th person on the island.

The ninth and tenth night passages confuse me. "None shall live" on the ninth night, but it goes on to the tenth night, which sounds like someone will survive. Which should be whoever is chosen to be the wise ones. I suppose 1 out of the five survivors on the ninth night will die. The four left will has those wishes granted.



One shall be, all the gold from the Golden Land. = One will get the large amount of gold hidden somewhere.

One shall be, the resurrection of the souls of all the dead. = I bet the murderer will be one of the survivors and will go crazy and be haunted by all the people he or she has killed.

One shall be, even the resurrection of the lost love. = George will go crazy and "reunite" with Shannon. Or this could be talking about the two that were close, but torn apart.

One shall be, to put the Witch to sleep for all time. = Someone will make another contract with the witch.





The only thing I didn't like about this episode was Battler's scream near the end. The whole "No, this is impossible!" *screeeeaaaam* is so played out.

Meh, I'll wait for Seacats. I always end up watching something from whoever does it first, which usually turns out to be crappy, but not this time. Wait till someone with talent does it. :P

GG is the only fansubber I recognize that's released stuff so far.

I personally would rather avoid GG at all cost. They are probably one of my least favorite fan subbers right up there with Chihiro, but to each is their own of course. Seacats only just recently finshed the first episode, so it'll probably be awhile until the get two done, but I liked it a lot better than GG's work.

Yeah, Shannon's death was unfortunately predictable. Never ever propose when serious shit is going down. Another thing, I forgot who said it, but I remember hearing that people who've watched Higurashi (which I actually haven't seen yet) will be surprised by some the twists in Umineko.
