Vandread

It was my favorite anime for a long while, but saying too bad it is only 26 episodes is asking for trouble. They just finally took it off Encore-WAM after playing it non-stop everyday for like the past two to three years. I bought the collector's box set at Anime Expo and haven't really touched it since.

It's typical GONZO fluff. Cute and not much beyond. There was much porn, however.

Vandread was okay in my opinion. I prefer the second season though. It was a little bit deeper.

It's fine as a fluff series. Ok CG and women, not big on coherence. I liked the OP/ED for the 2nd season though. I probably wouldn't spend on the DVDs.

I loved it, just wish it had another season.

i don't think there would be much of a plot to think up of after season 2...

a nice follow-up though would be a romance-ecchi-harem-comedy anime featuring Diita and-- whatever-the-guy's-name-was and everybody else...
since there's no plot, it'd be nice if it was 4koma style, living daily life up to the point where they die of old age :shock:

lol, its funny that you mention vandread, it always used to on this one channel...encore, and i just happen to catch it here and there. heh, but yea, it was an alright anime. mech/space comedy....i think its like nedasico (then agian ive only seen several episodes of that series)

As long he is not blabbing nonsense then is ok for me bty Vandread can also count as a spear head dive of mine to fully submerge in the anime world...

It was Awesome Noutakun and Shadowking can agree with me on that.

Its a light anime with very little depth into it. Its still and enjoyable show, though.

After you've seen the series, watch the "movie". The movie is mostly just the first season spliced together, however, it has some scenes in the beginning that aren't found in the series. Nothing ground breaking, but gives some of the female characters a stronger background.

I wonder how many people who've seen it like Bart. I can sympathize with him more (especially 2nd season) than anyone else in the cast. I mean, he really doesn't deserve the way he gets treated. Poor bastard.

lol we need a few characters like that for the amusement anyway i like them for the amusement purpose they are hilarious...
