WcDonald's, McDonelb's, McWhat?

I've never realized all of the random McDonald's spoof in a bunch of different anime...

There's an obvious one in Kaze no Stigma:


There's even "Katherine of the McDonald clan from America" in ep. 14...


And in Oreimo...


And I think I remember one in Inuyasha...

I don't think McD is sponsoring any of these shows, or are they just really silly parodies?

Anyway, any other weird company spoofs you know of?

Copyrights, Licenses... respect them.. lol
the companies never used them, but the authors put the parodies either it's a personal preference or something,
The author/show, never got a license to use those name, so in the end they just parodied the names into something similar but still distinguishable.

But this is still "stealth advertising" in my eyes lol.

It was sponsored, there was a campaign, that if you buy a Pizza or something you'll get the Cheezy-Kun doll, not the whole family like C.C. got though.

Hey its hard thinking of a name for a restaurant thats gonna show up for like, 3 seconds.

The McDonald's were a real clan in Scotland, and I'm just guessing, but it's probably a Scotland-derived surname after which the chain was named.

^ Which makes me think of all the poor Scottish immigrants who moved to America and couldn't open a bar called "McDonalds" because it was copyrighted, despite the fact that "McDonald" was their last name.

Anywho

Nintendo DS and Sony PSPs show up all time, and they aren't even parodied all the time. Sometimes it is just straight up DS or PSP.
