What anime would you like to see remade?

Actually, I just remembered "season 3" of school rumble. That wasn't a season at all, more like two OVAs. I felt like the makers of school rumble were like "Umm.. yeah its getting late and we got to wake up early so this is basically what happens..."

a 24 episode season smashed into just 2 episodes was lame.

And the bad thing was they even went to lengths to animate the so called previous on last episode scenes.

They could even make a movie!! imagine that, Elfen Lied the movie in 3D, Just kidding about the 3D it would be to risky although it would be cool to see the vectors jump out of the screen at you.

Does Dragon Ball Kai really count as a remake? I've only watched a few episodes, and from what I saw it had the same scenes from the original without crappy filler and a new opening/ending theme. In my opinion, this doesn't count.

Sailor Moon needs to be remade, following the manga more closely this time. Minako was so...Usagi-like in the anime and had no real impact after season 1. But in the manga, she asserts herself immediately as the leader of the inners. There are other things too, but I won't go into it. The whole remake could last about 52-75 episodes without crappy filler and following the manga more closely. That would be a dream come true.

Cat's Eye (For the sole reason of seeing some newly updated ecchi of the three sisters)

This is a no-brainer, I'd definitely love to see The Vision of Escaflowne get remade.

FLCL or Evangelion. OH WAIT there's already a new Evangelion.

Air Gear, and not by Toei Animation! BONES would be a cool choice, I feel they could give this series the justice it deserves. (plus they animate their series beautifully.)

Out of these choices, there is one clear answer - Urusei Yatsura!

It's a classic series that every diehard anime fan should see . . . but most anime fans haven't seen it, even the hardcore ones (including myself). We may know about the series and lust about the hot body of Lum, or seen the movies, but the original series is quite old and can be hard to get hold of. Or the retro art may be a turn-off (I'm sure that's true for a lot of people).

I would love to see them make a new series of Urusei Yatsura, with updated art. Even a simple 13-episode series would be good, just something more fresh.

Negima, but this time done properly instead of drifting away from the manga, right now there are about 3 different series using different animation/story.
