what are the must watch anime ?

after 2weeks of downloading & watching anime , I emptied my must watch anime list and now I don't have anything to download.

Ahh I've been in that position so many times b4 and I too have come here for help so just as others have helped me I shall help u. But b weary my friend this anime is very psycologcal and if u aren't ready it could do some damage (mostly round d end). With that said I highly highly highly recomend Neon Genesis Evangelion. Oh and make sure to watch The End of Evangelion movie to c the really good ending (much better than d series ending). Remebe though watch at your own risk.

I will also recommend one of d goriest and also psycological animes I've seen (not quite as deep as NGE but it's on par) which is known as Elfen Lied. I hope these help and b carefull these r intense animes

You're very limited to anime itself. I find that you say you have nothing to watch quite funny considering the vast amounts of anime series' out there. :lol:

Nah he is like me it's not that He don't know any anime it's just he doesn't know what to watch next. Which reminds me I finished Toradora like u guys recommended and now I'm back to step 1 and have no clue wat to watch. Anyway back to topic NGE and Elfen Lied are definate musts

Oh yeah Elfen Lied doesn't hold back with the gore (limbs flying around ppl exploding) and there is some nudity but I would recomend it too it's extremely good. Also NGE is from 1994 and is actualy one of the most heralded animes of all times it completely breaks the rules of happy endings instead of aloe problems magical fixing themselves they pile up till BAM. Oh well u will c. But realy pay lots of attention since it's a very psycological anime (lol this anime got me depressed for tow weeks after watching the true ending End of Evangelion. Anyway I know you will enjoy them both

How could I forget good old Geass. Oh by d way Cowboy Bebop and FLCL at heavenly (but watch NGE First)

I watched the trailer of elfen leid and I think I'll gonna like tihs show.

I'm planning to download the elfen leid now even tho I hate gore.

A few recommendations off the top of my head. :)

It's hard to make a list of "must-watch" anime series because everybody has different tastes. What may be perfect to some is crap to others. Code Geass is a great example; a lot of people will say that it's one of the best series of recent years, while other people will say that it's complete shit. (Man, those conversations get heated.)

Still, there are some series that only get bashed by idiots who like to go against the majority. There aren't a lot, but they do exist:

Dragonball/Dragonball Z - Some people will say that DBZ makes the characters too powerful, and some will say that it's the best action series ever. Whichever one you might be, the Dragonball series is worth watching (if you haven't already). I recommend starting with the original series, with Goku as a little kid, because DBZ will make more sense that way, and also because DB is fucking awesome. I hear people talk shit about DBZ quite a lot, but DB is almost perfect.

Tenchi Muyo - The original Tenchi Muyo is great, even if you're not a fan of harem series. The sequels may not be, but the original is definitely a must-watch series. It's funny, the characters are likable, and the story is nice (and not just a flimsy excuse to have women all over a guy).

Clannad/Clannad: After Story - A very funny series with great characters and great stories. If I say any more, it will turn into a giant wall of text. The second season is just as good, if not better, than the first season.

Genshiken - If you're an otaku, then you'll like this series, because it's a pretty realistic representation of otaku life (even if you're not Japanese). It is also very funny, though you may not get all of the jokes because they usually reference anime series and games. I actually recommend downloading the fansub of this series and not buying it because the fansub includes notes and explanations of things that pop up that you may not get.
