What have you learned from watching anime in your life.

I remember that I've started to watch anime like 4-5 ago when animax had first came to our country and I had learned alot from watching animes all these years like I was once along time ago terrible at english I could barely pronounce english words i had a habit of forgeting spellings of every words.But now i'm better than ever on english ,my english words pronounciation is better than ever ,my bad habit spelling mistakes are automatically gone.And I had learned alot of things of things too that I don't about like about what love might really be and that how things can happen to just anyone and so on.i can't even imagine what were to happen if I never had started to watch animes.

I rarely think about it, and it may seem a little sad to admit, but I've actually learned quite a share of Japanese phrases and a better understanding of Japanese culture via watching anime. As a result, I've also been studying Japanese, but I've been pretty lazy on my studies as of late.

I learned quite some things from Detective Conan.

Learned many poisons such as potassium cyanide, arsenic, and such. Got to know more anatomy, what happens to human body certain time after death. Also learned bunch of miscelleneous facts, such as the origin of the word DJ and some Japanese history.

Bloody but pretty educational anime.

Learn a lot of things from Master Cooking Boy

The manga and anime told me all of types of Chinese Food

I learned:

- Some Japanese.
- That 99% of the animes have some kind of ecchi to it.
- Lolicons are popular.
- People think they are actually anime characters themselves.
- Almost every anime isn't original anymore.
- Many other more, but I don't want to list.

I've learned a lot of japanese that helped me when I was studying the language.
Then, when a term I don't know about comes up in a anime, I usually go and check out what it means, so I've learned something by that aswell, even if I can't give an example right now.

That 3D is disgusting.
Also, that it's my daily battlefield.

I learned some Japanese too from watching animes and yeah I sometimes end up acting like an anime character too.

Pretty much the same here, Japanese sounds really natural to me now (much like my own language and English).

Yep, same here. But currently I've dropped my Nihongo weekend school class, so anime's my only remaining viable outlet of keeping what I learned in oral Japanese in check. I usually keep pausing and retracking to see how a particular word is pronounced properly.

I also learned sometimes how to observe other people's behavior better while watching anime. I credit it for helping me know what my gf actually means sometimes.

Learned that whatever happens there will never happen here in real life which is very sad.

True. And it is very saddening.

Its true that its sad that it will never happen in real life, but then again if it did then we wouldn't probably enjoy it as much.

hahahaah i sort of learned a lot of quick phrases to tell a girl when she is sad or crying.

That real life SUCKS in comparison.

Learned that an obnoxious brightly colored kid can pass of as a ninja in the eyes of many (me not included)
