what power will you give to a character............

if you were to design a power for a character......
what would it be....
the destructive kind like the power to explode anything you punch....
or...
the controlling kind like psychic power....
or...
the harmless kind like the power to change trash into flower....

This is so trite and overused, but I find that the power to use spirit and courage to overcome any obstacle to be totally awesome, and makes the character so goddamn manly - Simon and Kamina from TTGL, and even Kazuma from S-CRY-ed.

I really like Touma's power from To Aru Majutsu No Index, it's refreshing atlest. Power to negate other's special powers so you can fight them fair and square, depending only on your natural human abilities.

X-ray vision - just enough to see through girl's clothes
Pheromone control - to lure any girl you want
Insane regenerative ability - for humping all night long
Invisibility - do i need to say it? :wink:

Guaranteed you won't lose to any female enemies

Naah. For females i would prefer something like... the final Duncan Idaho ghola, from Heretics of Dune and Chapterhouse Dune.

Here's my character description:

Female, 5'6'', Blue Eyes, Black Hair, Bra 36 B, Average - Skinny weight.

Occupation: A Truthful Diplomatic

Power: Makes people understand right away and sees the fault in their ways. They won't agrue or nothing. Persuasiveness basically. Power limits only to really retarded ass situations. Like the ones below.

Examples of when this power was needed:
1) Doom taught my child how to shoot a gun. [Why the fuck did you buy it for him then?]

2) Columbine kids did this due to bullying and violent video games. [They had a god damn blog about doing this shit way before it happened... also how did those kids afford the guns and materials? I wanted an allowance like that when I was living with my rents. Also... yet again... why the fuck did you buy them this game?]

3) This movie is too violent for my children! [... It's rated R for a reason. R doesn't make it a Pirate movie.]

4) My kids turned to drugs and alcohol because of Television. [They turned to drugs cause you suck at parenting.]

5) I found this Simpsons pornography to be pedophilia! [So now cartoons got a borderline? Dear God... their not real. If you think it's real you are a Crackpot.]

6) I hate working at this God damned McDonalds. [Get another job then. Also if you dropped outta school... you're retarded.]

7) "I want a small coffee please." "It's Tall coffee sir." "What...?" "Tall." "Ummm... ok whatever." "$2.58" "WHAT?! HOLY SHIT!" [Lol I just got bored that's all. Bet ya can't figure out where I went for that Coffee. Also I'm to blame for this for not getting up early enough to make my own damn coffee.]

Hmm.... how about these:
1. Geass of Absolute Obedience - when diplomacy fails, use this :)
2. Teleportation - when running becomes your friend.
3. Invisibility - now you can sneak into ladies bathroom with ease :D
4. Create something from pure energy around you - try to create thousand of weapons when you face the dork that can summons hundred swords from his living room
5. Time bending - when all others failed, try this one. Hazardous it may seem...

I think this will do for now...

Some of the power are a bit generic but still awesome and love to have..

Reminds me of S-CRY-ed where the Alter Users can create these weapons from their surroundings and energy. That, and the drive to exceed's one's limits.

You know what, that'd be an awesome power, the ability to exceed your limits. Every time a character had to run faster but couldn't, can now, etc. etc.
