What's better? Manga?Anime?

Do you enjoy reading manga or watching anime more?
Or do you enjoy both of them equally?

I'm probably going to be the odd man out as usual but I prefer Anime. I just prefer seeing things in motion for the more action oriented series and music to set the tone of things for the less action oriented series.

It really depends on the style and execution as they both have advantages and disadvantages.

Anime has motion to convey action and time sequences better and driving emotions with music, lighting and tone.

Manga does a better job of conveying thought and longer conversations while making analytical battles better.

So, I chose "Both".

Depends but i go with both

the anime is there for the cool animations like hajime no ippo
Tsukihime animation was just bad alot of things left out compared to the manga but who can blame them they are 12 episodes(I think)

but in conclusion i like both

Anime's, if done right, can be better then manga's IMO.

If you also read one of the Global moderators posts, he talks about it being old enough that it can stay and I think it applies to this as well. Also, going through ten pages just to post that it's been done before to put down a newb is a kind of a douche baggy thing to do... >_>

Mangas are better than anime in so many ways. For me, half the time I'm lazy_*I'm an example of why U should stay in school.*_and when I don't understand something in the manga, that's where anime steal the top spot in my heart. I love anime n/ I love manga, so I'm staying in the middle to keep them both as my #1s

I've never gotten into manga. Mostly because I don't like downloading it and buying manga just isn't for me. I prefer the visual media with as little of my own imagination required as possible. XD

I like them both because I like a lot of different things that might not be made into anime or the anime might just end crape and u find a manga that has still been going on and u r like score woot :)

I say both, they both have there pros and cons but theyre equal in my heart

Sorry was bored so i decided to go with all this ^^;

Depends I like both but I some cases I prefer to read the manga more than to actually watch them (anime/episodes) cause one of the ways is see it and it is the manga/visual novel, how ever you wanna call it, is the original work before the production of the animated series. And then the anime comes out and it’s completely different I mean that’s to be expected at some level but… in some cases it sucks and its far worst than what you awesomely read on the manga… and so comes disillusion. But any ways I still like both “in some cases” …

But:

For example I started watching naruto all the way up too Naruto Shippuden episode 93 then I stopped because I stated liking reading the manga more than watching the episodes. Cause besides me being immensely ahead of the animated series I noticed that stuff that happened in the manga was not showing on T.V, “awesome stuff!” So I got pist at the animated series and I stopped watching it. But on some other hand the animated series came up with stuff that didn’t happened in the manga which is good but… not enough for me to re pick up the series :/ maybe in some distant future I will, dunno.

Think this is the timeline for anime please do correct me if I’m missing something or am wrong about something. I would like to make this perfect in my mind for future references:

Manga/Visual novel >> Trailer/Teaser (which are pretty much the same) >> Ona (in some cases, very rare tho and some examples are School days, Candy☆Boy) >> Ova (or Oav how ever you want to refer it too has, its still pretty much refers to the same thing but I personally prefer to call it Ova.) /movie/special (once again in some cases not all the time they throw out a movie, as for ova not so sure think they do throw out one before the animated series comes out, but I mostly end up watching the series as they are already on T.V) >> Animated series (T.V anime series).

In short: Manga >> Anime :)

Hmm...

I like anime versions because i can sit around and enjoy and i can feel the real essence but sometimes, anime versions are way too fast..like will i miss a certain scene..

I like manga too...I can enjoy it and can visualize it well but sometimes its too slow and gets me bored..
