I'd be straight with sharing my thoughts and feelings in this one...
In part of the preparations for the upcoming concerts, Eiji discussed the "gameplan" which clearly proves that there hasn't been a definite winner in contest yet. With the addition of another venue called "The Stadium" victory comes down to 46,701 spectators... (quite a number that is) :o
Rina's confrontation with Yayoi about the letter...
Despite never admitting to it, I still believe that Yayoi never intended to do so, as she was really scared out of her wits back then where she had mistaken Yuki's letter for the other. It was rather unfortunate but what's done is done anyway, there's no more use in contemplating about it. - But no matter how much they try to cover it up, the problem still remains and it only worsens by the minute.
Rina's (Mizuki Nana's) "Sound of Destiny" was featured in bits and pieces in this episode. I can't wait for the actual song to be released. :D (04/08/09) Rina must have been really bothered by whatever the content of Yuki's letter to Touya, as she obviously wasn't able to focus on her rehearsals and mostly the entire time, I'd seen her with a very troubled look on her face. :( (I wanted to cheer her up)
Mana wasn't left out this time and along with Haruka, the two "Zashiki Warashi" made me forget about the main issues/concerns that the others have been dealing with.
Touya, meanwhile, was pretty much down in the dumps. All that he could ever think of was Yuki, Yuki, and more Yuki. But the fact that he couldn't do anything about it, unable to even call her, oblivious to what his beloved Goddess is doing; is pushing him to the brink of insanity. He's at his limits! No wonder that he's now developed a very intimate affair with Yayoi. (They're both troubled and in seek of company/comfort... so there you have it) It truly pained me to see Touya broke down in tears like that, letting out a fair amount of emotion that he had kept bottled up inside all this time. (Tomoaki Maeno deserves credit for such an "award winning" performance)
Touya's becoming more attached to Yayoi which aggravates me more than Akira's "loser" attitude towards him. Near the episode's end where Rina invited him and he declined... while the scene shifted from Yuki slowly into the reflection of Yayoi by the car's window... I knew it! The most "climatic" part of this episode yet it was highly depressing; to my Goddess' astonishment... What should/could Rina do now?! (Confound it!)
Yayoi has become Touya's drug and vice versa but seriously, he needs to snap out of it soon if not NOW, for Yuki's sake! As I see it, it's impossible for him to stop the addiction on his own but perhaps with Rina's help... or whoever else it may be, just do something to make him realize the fuck that he's doing! :x
I have never mentioned it before but I really find the titles for each episodes agreeable and fitting. It's quite artistic and the way they use it for the previews is just perfect, with Touya narrating it.
And after everything that has been said and done, the second season is starting to get visible...
