my thoughts:
Misaki and Touya finally were able to finish up the costumes just on time for the dress rehearsal. (appx 2 days before the actual stage-play)...
- What does Touya's father seems to be concerned about? Such a sharp old man. It's as if he knows, well, that's probably what we call experience.
...But then again, despite all their efforts, it was rejected by that ugly jerk, Tamaru. It's a good thing that Touya's father helped with the revisions and so they've managed to finish everything up with another all-nighter... to Tamaru's surprise.
Meanwhile, Mana is so adorable, so cute and funny (she always makes me smile with her antics) particularly when she almost stole a kiss from Touya (or did she?)... Evidently, she still thinks of Haruka as the "Yuki" whom Touya mentioned as his girlfriend. She thinks that they're only messing around with her, when she's actually the one who's messing around with them
Yuki also took part in their college's festival, not as a student but as to promote her upcoming single (which she didn't sing though) and somehow made an unplanned announcement...
- aside from assuming that it has got something to do with a live concert performance, what else can it be?
...when Touya woke up in the afternoon, he went to their college to check up on Misaki, whom she didn't find, instead heard about Yuki who had been there earlier. He then just went on to see the rehearsal, called Misaki on his way home and made a promise to see the play tomorrow. Unfortunately for Yuki, who wasn't able to get in touch with him yet again. With that, she just thought about writing him a letter instead. Touya on the other hand, was standing outside her condo, staring above her dark room, murmured a few words while envisioning himself surrounded by a countless number of people... and shouted inaudibly.
- did anyone manage to read his lips? The angle was shifted from the side of his lips to upfront all of a sudden, which made it more difficult to figure out what exactly came out of his mouth...? YUKI?!?! - was it as simple as that? The "countless number of people" was simply to imply Yuki's evident rise to stardom, very soon.
Finally, the day that they've worked so hard for has arrived. Fuck you Tamaru, will you STFU?! :x thanks to that jerk who didn't allow them to watch the play by the usual means. Misaki was forced to use her last option. So the two of them went on an expedition of some sort and such a long & dark journey it was. ...yet they failed to make it through their destination before the play had started. The two decided to take a breather and reminisce...blah blah blah, which only proved that they've come from way back. But when Akira's name was brought up, the atmosphere turned for the worse. Misaki wanting to avoid further discussion hurried along and got into a minor accident. Everything else just fall into place, with their emotions/feelings for each other set loose...
- Misaki's confession which was halted by a kiss didn't really came as a surprise. What did surprise me was Touya's reaction to her following statements which she said to bring closure to their unusual senpai-kouhai relationship. He just started crying all of a sudden, and capped it off by confessing his love for her. WTF?!
- the funny thing was Tamaru have been aware thus from hearing the noise and shouting, which made him lost focus of how/what he was supposed to act/say... earning his well deserved laughs from the audience. (serves you right!)
...As Misaki was left alone reminiscing about her beloved kouhai, out of nowhere comes Akira (in his priest get-up) saying "Misaki-san, I love you." And before collapsing, she mentioned something about a "punishment ending" as if she knew that it was going to happen sooner or later.
- Akira was cool this time around. 8) With the costume, the lighting behind him and the confession most importantly, seems like he'd been waiting for this very moment all along.
I'll end it here for now as I cannot think much longer... need sleep. For those who are watching this series, feel free to share your thoughts as well, I'd very much like to know about it.
