This is gonna be saaaaad. ;_;
Well,thats what I'm hearing all around. Winter Sonata is an anime adaption from its original and successful Korean tv Drama. It turned out to be especially successful when it broad-casted back in Japan 2004,and sparked an ongoing wave of Korean pop culture ever-since.
Unfortunately I haven't got around to watch any of those mostly tragic Korean Dramas(heard they were awfully addicting too!), but I have a hunch that there would be a high amount of bawling here like in Makoto Shinkai's 5 Cm. Another plus is that it would feature the voices from the original main leads;Bae (Kang) and Ji Woo Choi (Jung); along with 21 other original cast members voicing.

The original 2002 drama follows a girl named Yu Jin Jung and her male classmate Joon Sang Kang as tragedy and angst befalls them and those around them in the years between high school and young adulthood.

As much as I think this may be a bad idea(as it may butcher the amazingness of the drama), I will watch.

The first episode at the airport they were speaking Korean...maybe this will be in that format? That feeling of somebody escaping from your life is a very tragic feeling.
