I always wonder what kind of conditions can make people unable to tell genders apart from each other.

if you're talking about zabimaru's human form in anime, yeah, it's kinda difficult to say. at first, "it" does looks like girl (have breast too). but the way she speak, that's male seiyuu, man. it also speak "ore" that usually refer to "I" for male.

To me it's a she, the name chimpette is in feminine form isn't it?
and the child is a boy I think. her voice is masculine yes but the way she act
is more feminine like she gets mad when the boy (don't know his name) says she has a big butt and so on.

Well most of the males have long hair, but other than that they don't really look very feminine.

Gender determination protip: unless it has obviously huge boobs, treat it as a male.

You can never go gay wrong that way.

You couldn't tell if Mariya was a guy until the main character reached up his skirt and grabbed his dick.

Obviously you haven't watched anime for long or you would know that it is quite a popular theme. I wouldn't really say Bleach dose it any worse than any other anime dose. It's just a part of anime you need to get used to it. I mean I can usually tell, but I mean Midnight from Fairy Tail still think it's a chick.

I don't see how you think any guy from bleach looks like a girl...all of them are Ripped, or Really fat! there is no room for them to look like girls!

Completely agree there. Its too disturbing... yet... why can't I keep my eyes off the screen...AHHH!!! *attempts to claw eyes out*

never had that problem myself either... then again i've been watching anime for a looong time so i'm used to most styles
