Yeah, I knew it was form Bones but I was commenting on it because even some of their other works aren't really similar to each other. I mean you can see a HUGE difference in animation style between Rahxephon and Eureka 7. Lol, yeah the quality does drop, but I think they gave it the gritty feel on purpose and even the first couple episodes have it too.

Quality drop, my ass! I just downloaded a 720p file of episode 6 and it looked jaw-dropping amazing. Granted, I am comparing it to the past episodes I have, which are not so stellar .mkv files(they're the only ones I could find!)

I was really talking about past experience with Bones anime. They do have a good history of keeping the animation kept up with the first episode, but you do see a drop in quality. I really haven't seen it yet since I've only streamed it, but in Eureka 7 I saw a drop for certainty, and even in Rahxephon (which I thought was really well animated for it's style) has a slight drop in character animation, though the environment stayed the same.
