Is it me or are most ending themes really sappy? When I think of my favorite ending theme, all I can think about are all these crappy girly themes that I hate with a passion. The only ending theme that I think is pretty good is either Naruto's first ending theme or Cowboy Bebop's ending theme because both of them make me reflect on what's going on in my life and what has happened in the past.
here's another unique one, whenever i listen to this, remind me of the good old days, and just forget about all the stress and shout it out to the world
honey & clover-waltz
chobits-katakoto no koi
romeo x juliet-cyclone
persona trinity soul-suicide love story
clannad-dango daikazoku
kenshin-dame
kenshin-it's gonna rain
in response to nates, the first ending of naruto gets to me.
the lyrics remind me of how idealistic we are in the average day, and how awesome it would be to be a free spirit and do what you want without boundries. as for my favorite...
the music video for the song itself is below, i thought it was relevant since its actually death note oriented. the second ending and opening for death note inspired my love for the japanese alternative band maximum the hormone and they stand strong as my favorites to date.
also, the girl in yellow is the cutest japanese girl ive ever seen.
The Endings to Samurai Champloo are both good and I love the ending to Cowboy Bebop. I love all the music from that show, absolutely amazing.
Some of my other favorite endings are from Genshiken 1
and Genshiken 2 (Unfortunately I cannot find a video on youtube of it that is not just the instrumental version). I feel they're both very fitting to the series and really spark feelings of nostalgia.
FLCL ending because The Pillows are amazing
Lastly, Welcome to the NHK's ending as it is just too fitting to the nature of the show.
My favorite ending theme is Lucky Star's earlier endings. The girls in the karaoke booth singing whatever they felt like. First time I heard Konata singing an old anime theme I chuckled muchly.
