Thanks for clarifying. I had read into the court case a while back and can totally understand the reluctance of Core from allowing their content to be published internationally. What I didn't understand is why the police felt the need to, well police, the obscenity law more vigorously than they had done prior to that. The law itself is exceptionally vague, and doesn't explicitly state what would be consider obscene. It's also an exceptionally stupid law that is only held up due to the legal precedent it's built up over time.
The only way Japan is going to get over this backward law is by rescinding the law,
Yamada Taro is currently the only person I know of who is working toward that goal, or for someone to take it to the courts and win.
