And I suppose it's not merged because they are digitally single pages?
My guess would be that they are originally two different single pages since that is how they are printed. However, when you are reading the physical book you can see both pages at the same time and this is not a problem.
When you are reading the book digitally you can only look at it one page at a time, meaning you can only see half the image at a time when the drawing is spread over 2 different pages. This is a real shame since you can only go back and forth between the 2 pages when using a normal image viewer or the on-line viewer. Because of this I always merge them myself.

How do you merge two images?
This is pretty easy using photoshop or a similar program. It's basically copy-pasting both images in a single frame, and the pages perfectly fit each other since they are not scans but the actual digital image.

A two-page mode is a feature we want to add to the reader. Including merged versions of spreads in downloads is something we can look into.
It would be great if you could add them to the downloads as well!
