Clarification for Bosshi XXX MiX

I know it's still a preorder, but is it safe to say that the whole book mostly with futa and anal?
It's determining whether I'll buy it or not.

Bosshi definitely loves his futas, so if you're a fan of his more vanilla work I would stick to his releases through Wani. But if you're a fan of futa and more extreme hentai then you'll enjoy his doujinshi.

Just to reiterate, since I'm not entirely clear from your response in the Titikei thread (and since this thread exists now, I'd rather put the question here than in another book's thread), but is the print version of this going to be Anime Expo exclusive? And if so, why was such a decision made that ignores a vast majority of the consumers?

This doujinshi was put together because Bosshi is coming over for Anime Expo, so it felt necessary to have a printed version for sale to allow attendees to get it signed. It's a special occasion sort of thing, and the physical copies will likely sell out during AX, and I don't think there are any plans of reprinting it.

Unfortunate. Was really looking forward to the book. The mere premise of exclusives, especially ones I really wanted, kills most desire to get anything else that I was merely interested or somewhat interested in. It's like, why collect or care if the ones you really want are blocked behind a $1000+ flight/hotel/time wall?
And don't say just buy digital. I don't buy anything digital.

The doujinshi model has largely been limited runs for special events so it doesn't surprise me in the slightest. Plus, the addition of the digital edition makes it a very similar situation to scanlations; not everyone will be able to own the physical copy but people can still read it. I imagine a good portion of people don't own the original doujinshi of most of the scans they have read.

i think GDB says the most important things. I bought all your books, even if the shipping cost me as much as the books, but when you make such exclusive "printed" books, I have to think twice to buy something again.

Yeah at least if it were a limited print that was available online, everyone would have a fair shot at it. Having to attend a con to get it eliminates 99% of potential customers, even the most loyal of them.

Quite disappointed to not be able to put my hand on a physical copy, I won't be able to cross over continents to attend the convention.

A bit disappointing, yes, but at least there is the digital version for the rest of us. Really would love to get my hands on a printed copy, though...
@jacob, Jacob, how about a small prize drawing of a very limited number of printed copies between the digital pre-orders? I won't even grumble if I don't get one, but it would still be nice if the rest of us would have even this tiny chance.

I know that's how it usually works, but I'm saying it shouldn't be.

To be honest, I agree that a limited run for online orders would be appropriate. There's really no reason not to unless the printing costs were too expensive (Jake did say they had to use a more expensive printing person this time since the content was more extreme) or they are short on time.
But, really, hasn't anyone ever heard "you don't always get what you want"?

The former tries to keep people from crippling themselves with debt, while the latter just annoys consumers. Look how much heat Nintendo is taking for their awful amiibo stock numbers, or how much heat they got years back when the Wii was impossible to find.

Oh, I know the amiibo struggle. However, I think the reason Nintendo is receiving so much flak is because they have the means to produce more. They're an enormous company with tons of resources. In this case, we don't know Fakku's situation.
I'm sure these doujinshi will sell out because of the scarcity, so I think it might have been better PR-wise to have set aside some copies beforehand to be available online. For example, if there were 300 (random number) copies, you could have 200 for AX and 100 online. I'm sure all would sell out (more easily I might add) and that way everyone would have a chance to get one. Only backfire I could see is people complaining about why more weren't printed for online ordering. Give someone an inch and they'll take a mile...

So, with this cryptic message/image and the cover used on the Bosshi's XXX Mix page, is it safe to assume this is part of said book? The back cover also seemed to be the cover of Bosshi's Futa x Futa from C84. Is this book not actually new material, and just a compilation of previously non-compiled Bosshi stuff?
I even found a Bosshi short from C74 called Mata Itsumo no Futari, which is is a loli being tentacled with egg laying, which I recall being tags for the book.
If so, is it at least touched up? Because his comiket stuff looks more like sketchbooks than a normal doujinshi.

Yes, it is a compilation of doujinshi works. Besides being uncensored and in English, I don't think anything was changed.

Hey there!
I was wondering if there is going to be a chance to acquire a physical copy outside of the Expo. I know they sold out there and that it was initially a limited run, but I thought I'd ask now that the expo is over.
I'm definitely one of these people who prefer physical copies/complete collections of things and I'm hoping there might be some kind of reprint.
If there is a worry that the physical copy wouldn't sell as well in the online shop, would it be possible to make a preorder and if you get X amount preordered another print would get a run? Or would this just completely stay exclusive to Anime Expo?
On that note, if it does stay exclusive, will there be future similar exclusives that will only be available to conventions? Its definitely hard for me to travel to different states most of the time and I'm worried I'll miss out on more physical releases.
Any information anyone could give would be greatly appreciated ;-;
Thanks!

I don't think there are any plans for a second print of this particular doujinshi. However, given the feedback, I think we'd at least consider making a limited number of copies available online if we do another con exclusive doujinshi in the future.
