Comic Kairakuten 2016-11 Preview!

Hamao has only done cover designs for a few months (February and October), but this month they're finally back with a full chapter. The story's protagonist is feeling a bit blue after his baseball team fails to qualify for the regional division for a third year in a row, and his childhood friend invites him to come see her perform with her band. While she wanted to cheer him up, it unfortunately had the opposite effect, and seeing how successful she is just makes him even more depressed. Determined to raise his spirit, she drags him into an empty storage room to have a private heart-to-heart.

In Mozu's chapter, two girls catch their friend flirting with a teacher. With their interest piqued, they approach him asking if he could help them revise material from a lecture earlier in the day, but once alone they instead confront him about his relationship with their classmate. Some thoughtless frolicking down by the river take a grisly turn in Mitiking's story, but the event leads to him encountering an alluring girl worth dying for.

Last but certainly not least, in October you can also look forward to a triplet of color chapters from kanbe, E-Musu Aki, and Yanyo.

Damn, was hoping the cover meant another Homunculus chapter - hopefully next time. But this looks like another great issue and I see a lot of artists I like: Hamao, Mitiking (does he have any collected releases?), mogg, SAVAN (he's becoming one of my favorites), E-musu Aki, Ashiomi Masato, etc. Great time to be a subscriber. =)
