Some of the screen shots seem to show this to be a darker release, but I don't see any warning tags, other than lack of 'vanilla' tag. Is this one fairly vanilla? Thanks for any opinions/advice.

There's a couple of vanilla-ish chapters, but I really wouldn't call most of the book that.

Thanks for any opinions/advice.Sort of i remember reading it but the sex scenes aren't dark at all most are vanilla, its more of the story following the main male character ends up getting possessed or something and forces sex onto one of the girls i believe that's where the dark tones set in.

The main story, yes, and it does have a pretty vanilla ending despite going darker for a bit, but that's just the first 6 chapters of the whole book.
The whole thing is really a mix of everything, with some vanilla, but also some much darker stories, especially Ninja Blade.
