FAKKU Books Poll #2 - Yamatogawa

Earlier this year, we brought back a number of fan favorite artists with our release of Comic Koh Vol.1. One of those artists is hentai legend Yamatogawa, and as the year comes to a close, we're thrilled to announce that we have a lot more Yamatogawa coming your way! We are proud to announce that FAKKU has acquired the rights to Yamatogawa's entire body of work; six full book releases spanning over a decade. We've already decided on our first release, the author's second book and what we believe is one of their most iconic titles: Witchcraft! You can already pre-order it, as you only have to wait a little over a month for it to come out in early January. For more into on this title, check this discussion topic. However, for our next release, we've once again decided to leave that decision to the community. You can vote to decide the order of which books we publish next, until the polls close on December 15th. The title with the most votes at the end of that period is scheduled to be released in summer/fall of 2019. We also reserve the rights to swap any planned title should the artist release a brand new book at any point (as we will be publishing it). In this case, we'll still do the old title at a later date. Aqua Bless (2007) Short Description: This collection of stand-alone stories includes a girl "suffering" from sexual telepathy, an appropriate double chapter with two twins, a hero show definitely not suitable for children, and many more wacky stories. Yamatogawa's style of comedy is already well-established in this debut title. TayuTayu (2009) Short Description: We meet a boy who moved to Tokyo 8 years ago, but when his parents flies overseas for work, he's forced to move back to the countryside to look after their house. There, he's reunited with two girls from his childhood, and we get to follow this love triangle in an 11 part series. Taihen Yoku Dekimashita? (2009) Short Description: Starts off with a 70 page story about a guy trying to balance studying for this entrance exams with the demands of his passionate girlfriend. While some of the remaining oneshots stick to school setting, we also experiment with virtual reality, bondage, cat burglary, and more. Power Play! (2012) Short Description: A struggling game developer's world gets turn upside-down when his isekai creation comes alive—and he's the main bad guy. If you're a fan of Sara from Witchcraft, you're in luck! She's back again in a different role, this time as the heroine of this fantasy-themed tale of swords and sorcery. Vanilla Essence (2015) Short Description: The latest release from Yamatogawa contains a series of oneshots, from voyeurism and summery pool play, to steamy school trips and wintery stargazing. Variety might be the spice of life, but the one thing all these chapters have in common is their sugary sweet filling. Any title we decide to work on will be done completely by us, and have the same high quality that you've come to expect from a FAKKU Books release.

Interesting, I thought Tayu Tayu or Vanilla Essence would be in the lead but Power Play? I guess everyone really is tired of the usual Vanilla we've been getting or maybe its because of the fact that its an isekai story.

I don't think it's so much people getting sick of vanilla as the vanilla vote is being split rather evenly between Tayu Tayu and Vanilla Essence while the non-vanilla vote is coalescing around Power Play.

Tayu Tayu is an easy choice for me, but I can't wait for ALL of these to come out. Just go ahead and take my money!

Oh man, incredibly happy that Yamatogawa is joining the fray.

I would have voted for Power Play since it's an SSS tier book, but I went with Tayu Tayu since it needs the love.

Anyway, good work Fakku.

I think I will abstain from voting this time since you already announced my favorite (Witchcraft). I like all the rest pretty much equally and will probably get them all when you release them.

i think its weird since you can get the icarus publishing edition aka first print of witchcraft and aqua bless from rightstuf but i guess if the other ones are being released under fakku i am willing to order them. and maybe get witchcraft and aqua bless later i already own witchcraft.

Tayu Tayu or Power Play, Power Play or Tayu Tayu; such a tough decision...

Power Play had an interesting plot, that's for sure. But I gotta go with Tayu Tayu.
The sisters, the harem, all of it was just superb!

Tayu tayu still has the twincest. I think all 6 that project h books are intact. They censored the sex in a lot of the other titles and cut loli scenes but the incest which tayu tayu barely had really(kiss after cumshot) is the same as the fanscan.

Now there color extras missing from the Japanese tanks, but I don't think any of my copies are censored or main content removed.

Actually I just checked and none of the books has any incest outside tayu tayu little scene of sis on sis jizz kiss. In the first chapter color pages.

Maybe it was the ages they changed/censored? Either way, it's been a while and I can no longer find the source of information I got said information from, and if anything did get censored/changed it was probably reverted in the newer editions. I remember Project H put the angel chapter back in the 2nd edition of Cute Devil Girlfriend.

Anyway, it's nice I'll finally be getting Tayu Tayu and Taihen Yoku Dekimashita?

I kind of doubt Project H would have changed the ages of the characters in Tayu Tayu. Although the translated afterword on Project-H's version says the characters in Tayu Tayu are all in college, most of Project H's other books never bother to specify if any of the characters are adults or not. I say this especially since Project H still sells/licenses Mizuryuland and they even kept the prologue which states "minors over the age of 13 are considered adults" (in terms of the story of Mizuryuland).

Sadly not the best option.
I love archonia, I buy all my manga/BD/figures from them, but buying FAKKU! manga there would not get me the digital version, which I already own for every release anyway.
Good to know though that they have a few books (7) on stock nowadays, they weren't available last time I checked, so thanks for that!

Heck I might just buy Superdimensional Love Gun as a birthday gift for a friend of mine, I'm sure he'll hate it. xD

Edit: (Power Play is winning, yay! It's a damn good hentai book. Having checked again I already own 4 of these books. Yamatogawa is a fantastic artist.)

Would say Power Play is the best in the series of books but I already own that one from ProjectH
Vanilla Essence is a really good one which I didn't pick up

I got two copies of Vanilla Essence, I supported the Kickstarter. And they had a large number of misprints. So They had a adopt a extra book program you could buy one at a large discount. I am wondering how much different your version will be. Probably the main thing is the quality of the translation and the high res digital downloads. I'm kinda curious. :) I do hope more of these types of things happen. Alot things out there I would like to see get a revamp/rerelease.

Wow, looks like I'm going to be triple dipping on some of these titles - already own Project H's first two releases for Tayu Tayu (my fave), Power Play and Witchcraft. Still glad to see Fakku got the rights; maybe now we can get digital versionz that doesn't look like crap!

Wow, Witchcraft is one of my favorite titles, along with Tayu Tayu. I'm looking forward to reading Power Play - can't decide whether or not to buy the digital version of Witchcraft.

what's happening with Project H anyways? over the last year the content has taken a considerable nosedive. Is there a chance more content will migrate over to FAKKU?
