FAKKU Books Pricing Update

The price of FAKKU Books has remained the same—$19.95 for standard paperback books, $24.95 for premium paperback books, and $9.95 for digital editions—since the launch in 2014. Much has changed during these past eight years, and now, due to a wide variety of external factors, we have made the difficult decision to raise our prices.
Starting with our next release, Thursday January 5th, paperback books will be priced at $24.95, and digital books at $12.95. The new prices for premium books will be $29.95 and $14.95 respectively.
This change will also apply retroactively to our previous releases. Digital prices will be updated gradually over time, while paperback prices remain the same for existing inventory. Once a title goes out of print, the price will be updated ahead of its next reprint.
This change would have happened sooner, but we chose to not go through with it during the peak-years of the global COVID19 pandemic. However, with the general cost of goods and services going up due to inflation, not to mention the increasing cost of printing and shipping, we are forced to follow suit with the rest of the market and make this change.
From the beginning, FAKKU has produced some of the highest quality printed and digital books across the entire manga industry, and we do not want that to change. These updated prices will allow us to continue offering that same high quality manga. We hope you will continue to support FAKKU and our products. Thank you for your understanding.
