If you access it online like reading the stuff online without a vpn then yes it possible to detect your breaking the laws in Korea about obscenity. If you have it on your laptop then there nothing detectable to send. They can't access your property without a warrant nor would they.

I just can't believe they're actually monitoring it, that's crazy.

It actually happened, friend even sent me a photo of warnings they got.

No no, I don't mean to sound like I doubt you. I'm just incredulous that it happened in the first place. I mean I could see them tacking on an additional criminal charge if they were already there for something else, but dispatching police because of the porn? They sound like they must be very bored over there lol.

Will this ever get reprinted? Or is it gone forever?
