Why does this book contain chapters previously released for subscribers?
Two examples are provided below:
They're the same, but one is for subscribers and the other is in the book, Deep Blue Static.
Is there an explanation for this?
This is normal. Books are very often a compilation of magazine released chapters. Most books include some extras but you usually wouldn't miss very much from skipping the book.
So why should you buy it?
1. You get a hard copy as magazine content is only available in digital format via FAKKU. Take comfort in knowing that the copy is your property and if anything should happen it's in your possession.
2. The book version is always better. When putting together a book, the artist will take another look at all the chapters in the book and give them some extra TLC. For an obvious example, I'll point to the upcoming SAVAN release, Melty Lover

3. Many of our books contain chapters that didn't appear in the subscription. FAKKU doesn't publish
everything so some chapters that appeared in other publications or before FAKKU started publishing magazines just aren't in the subscription.
4. Extra support for the artists. I believe artists get a direct cut from our book sales.
