I have a Japanese friend who works for Mujiin (as an artist and designer of erotic manga) and he told me that Mujiin refused to work with Fakku simply because Fakku asked for unfair contracts, at least that's what that a Mujiin official told him
(by the way if you ask Mujiin for an uncensored version of a book he will tell you that their hard drive has failed)

shame about ti.net. would have REALLY liked their backlog of akatsuki myuuto stuff (10 volumes iirc) before he permanently switched to doujinshi.
and maybe the terms really ARE unfair from ti.net's point of view. cause if you look at the insane print manga book prices in the us, with most non hentai manga selling for 13 dollars compared to the 7 to 8 euros we pay here in europe, fakku probably demanded more cash to make this even feasible for them in order to not lose money. sadly i can't compare hentai book prices. i know that there's hentai publishers in france as well, but i don't know any by name to look at their shops. they'll probably sell for less than fakku's 20 bucks though.
lastly, i doubt the guy would give you uncensored manga since he would probably get in legal trouble for giving this stuff away unlicensed and since uncensored products are forbidden by law and you probably need special permission to export something like that.

In truth it is the censorship that poses a problem but also because Mujiin would not like FAKKU to sell their books in other countries but hey these are only excuses he found to justify the fact that he does not do not want to work with FAKKU
as far as the French publishers are concerned, their prices are as follows
price for an erotic book, paperback format: 9.95 € (10.69 Dollar)
price of an erotic book, Deluxe Edition, paperback format: 14.95 € (16.06 Dollar)
I also saw some box for example three volumes cost 24.95 € (26.82 Dollar)
however, the French publishers have very little content

as for the request for an uncensored erotic book made to Mujiin, well it's an old story, in fact several people had made similar requests to Mujiin but over several months apart and their response was always the same

ok, if multiple companies (and i hope it was NOT rude private persons) asked for overseas publishing rights, then it might really come down to them not wanting to sell outside of japan, since i don't think all companies asked for the same profit margins 😂
i just hope that wani and bunendo don't give in to the political pressure (or whatever is causing these random censorship demands) and keep overseas works uncensored. cause even other publishers like got had uncensored taiwan releases until just last year (danimaru's debut work for example - now it's censored in taiwan as well).

i mean, it's not been "in recent years" but rather last year and this year. and it doesn't seem to be just politicians, but also companies (or their japanese branch in case of overseas companies) that wage war against hentai. one example are the countless account freezes of hentai artists on japanese twitter. artists then directly appealed to elon musk to unban them and the japanese twitter ppl simply banned them again 😂
same bullshit with the card companies: since july 2022 even japanese citizens can't use mastercard on dmm/fanza anymore. recently they started unlisting free and even PAID pixiv fanbox articles with loli content. hell, even small children in random slice of life panels without any sexual background led to these articles being set to private. the reason are again the card companies, at least according to one artist on twitter. so take that with a grain of salt.

Some of your recent one-shot translations of the artist such as "Twin Hips" and "Ride The Rider" are collected in this book. As an assman I would love you all to death if you brought this masterwork over here. It would be the perfect follow up from "Satisfaction Guaranteed".
