Anime Expo 2012

I am always worried the guest list will be lower or less flashy as the previous years, and considering last year was Miku, I find it rather difficult to top that, but they don't necessarily need to top it. Either way can't wait.

Ooh, ill be there~! It's my first time going, im coming all the way from Canada. Ill be cosplaying Momoka one of the days, with my boyfriend as bromoka. We havent decided which day yet, but it will for sure happen! :D

I can't wait for Anime Expo! I've been going for years now... I want to say 7 years. I still kind of miss the Anaheim convention center. Even if it was small it was still a great location, within walking distance of tons of hotels. I wish I had gone to the Miku concert last year, but my favorite recent memory was meeting "Nabeshin" and having my picture taken with him! He signed a Menchi plush for me and he recognized my Sunako cosplay. He was so cool, I hope he'll visit again! I wish I Daisuke Ishiwatari autograph one of my Guilty Gear art books, but there was another event my friends and I went to at the same time of his signing session. Maybe he'll come back too, he seemed pretty impressed by the turnout of his fan base. People traveled from the other side of the country to see him at the panel. I'm not quite as amped about this year's guest list, but I haven't studied it that closely yet.

Im excited about going back to Anime Expo. Although I'll admit I miss when it was in the Anaheim Convention Center.

A lot of people miss the old Anaheim days, but remember-if you miss the Anaheim venue there is AM2 which is going to be there two weeks prior to AX, which ergo is in 2 weeks June 15-17.

Yea but AM2 isn't AX. And traveling from Florida gets pricey.

No, for unfortunately I skipped out from AX last year. Hoping for one this year. That or just a picture with Ms. Maridah while Im on my Acher costume. Im altering it to look like the one post-battle in UBW.

I just wanna go on record for saying I have a feeling this years convention has the possibility of going rather sour. I am not saying it will, nor that it won't, but I have this feeling. It may not affect the general attendance, but there most likely will be a larger group(than normal) that leave Anime Expo dissatisfied... so when and if it does happen.... I called it.

Though, perhaps my pessimistic attitude can get others to prove me wrong and we can look past the obstacles I know about/for see happening and make the best of it.

Well, I'm already disappointed/dissatisfied because no AX Idol... =/ But still, it's a chance to meet up with some of the friends I don't see a lot except at cons (like you, Looky!) and maybe Jacob and I will finally get our ramen, lol.
