F.A.C.T.S 2009 Ghent Belgium!

So, after a good day of shopping for some hentai dvd's, manga's and doushins and a beautiful mirei-san bust(which took half my budget) i've returned home to go through my collected stuff and reading through the doushins. funny fact : hidden deep inside a corner of the expo i found the gay - doushins :p so i decided to buy one to give to my female friend.

And now i'm here on the community hoping that someone has also gone there.

I'm actually attending it, tomorrow in fact.

I went a few years back, and I had fun that time. I don't have any things in particular that I want but seeing as I don't have financial problems this time I'll see what I'll get.

I was wondering whether anyone actually would post something about it, I tip my hat to you for being there.

Just returned, 600 Euro spend. 215 mainly on Hentai :p I'll post the pictures I took later when I've done making space in my room for everything

Though the guy who sold hentai was in the middle of the first room. I kept laughing whenever a girl passed and he shouted: "Don't walk so fast! Take a look at my Yaoi!"

What I bought

I was pleased, the convention was larger of scale now that they've moved to a bigger convention halls. Lots of cosplayers, lots of stuff, all in all t'was a great success.

Unfortunately I didn't end up buying anything, even though I had loaded up on cash, which was mainly due to time constrictions and such. Though I'll be saving up my money and surely I will return next year with great anticipation!

May i ask how many peeps there were and do you have some kind of (chat) panels or stuff like there? =P

Interesting sales place, having such a figures on open unlike here in Finland [since lot of Con's participants are still here under 18]. We are young country still when it comes to Anime.

It's an event that takes place in Belgium every year during the same period, mainly October.

As in how many peeps, you mean Fakku peeps? Well seemingly only the people in this thread, might be others but they haven't come forward yet. None of us actually got together though since we didn't plan as such, I had company with me anyway. If you mean peeps as in the whole crowd of people, then I don't know. A lot of people, a lot.

Yeah was quite surprised about the Hentai figures out in the open, but at least it shows that we're not prude about it so I have respect for that. I saw some stands that sold H manga but I controlled my temptation and didn't go take a look, since I had people with me that weren't really into such things and besides I want to save that for next year. :P

it's my third year I went. The first 2 years we're with a group. This year I was alone so I let my perverted self go with interesting results. (though it did drain my wallet pretty darn quick)

And I looked at the site again. I left at 13.00 and there was a cosplay competition at 14.30... damn I missed it

The cosplayers were meh, not really anything out of the ordinary. Some were bad, some were really bad, some were quite ok. But no convincing ones were really present on stage, so you didn't miss all that much.

yep pretty much in the open... I think it has somehting to do with 'it are not real people' mentality.


This is the guy who I bought my hentai from (as you can see in the boxes at the bottom of the picture. Fun guy to talk to. Kept shouting "come see my Yaoi" at the girls who passed. (Everything he sold where RAWs. So no english stuff, straight imports from Japan) He gave me his e-mail adress after I bought 16 of his books. He keeps me up to date where he is and if I need something or discover something interesting we just let eachother now and he'll bring it for me next time :D (He's from America... if I remember correctly Florida... I forgot)


come to think of it. I saw a girl who had a piece of paper attached to her back with "Yaoi Fangirl" written on it along with a picture of various yaoi fanart

Ah yes I remember seeing those, lol next time give me a call and I'll lend you some money since I was financially well prepared but didn't end up buying anything. It's a good cause to help fellow Hentai enthusiasts, well sometimes lol. I'm actually considering going twice next year. Once for my own pleasure and for Hentai related stuff and such, and the other time with the rest of the group to enjoy the rest.

I've had usually at least 100€ to 300€ money with me on Cons. They pretty much go quickly when buying some figures and cloth posters (have bought small hug pillow(s) from the Cons too). D=

I only paid 15€ for 1 doujin. Though there where a few that are 16 and 14 so average 15.

Well I had about roughly 800 euros to spend, there was more on my bank account but I like to keep a decent amount as savings for other things.
