howbout caimy the mermaid from one piece? it need: star-shaped shirt, mermaid tails and extra person to carry her around (better if hachi d octopus is doing so...)

As for challenging cosplay, try one from the later Seiken Densetsu (Mana) games, or Saber from Fate/Stay Night in her full battle gear (armor included).
Or if you want to be epic, take two characters and cross them into one:

Also, it would probably be hard to cosplay as a character of the opposite gender.unless the person is extremley pretty (which majority of the anime characters are wether boy/girl) but then sometimes you gotta leave some of the cosplaying to the asians (nothing racist and all just that choose wisely) com'on! he's too pretty to be cosplayed as a guy!

cosplay included her vehicle too
the bridget is a guy........(check my thread "most accurate cosplay" got some pic of this bridget there)....you can tell from the looks of his legs.....(the nerves and muscle structure)

people think too much of the detail... if you want challenge, how 'bout cosplaying a Hentai character - you know, when he/she is on the "hentai" part... :oops: err... forget I said that... sorry.

Fate Stay Night and Clannad has eroges. But true I haven't seen anyone cosplayed a hentai character. Except for La Blue Girl Live Action.
