Things you never thought you'd say

There are so many things I never thought I'd say before I started cosplaying.
One of the biggest is "Where's my turban?"

Is there anything you never thought you'd say before you started cosplaying?

In this sense pretty much everything. I haven't done any form of cosplay in a long time, but when I did I remember saying and doing things on a whim, especially when people wanted a picture/took pictures with me. It's a little embarrassing, but also enjoyable. Just fun to get into a persona as well. Oh and to add, have only done Lolita fashion; character cosplay is something I can't wait to tackle!

I'll probably say some cute catch phrases or act like the characters I cosplay as in the near future when I decide on who I want to be.

WHY EVERYTHING SO DAMN EXPENSIVE.. and why can't I find this damn colour..
how the fuck do I find this material

so yeah a lot of standard problems I guess.. I have a quite big cosplay OCD so I kind of get mad when I can't find the exact fabric material or the right colour or if I make props if I cant get the material or if the material is too expensive for it worth. Since I don't live in the US whenever I find some cool material it is always from the US and I have to pay a load of crap just to get a small amount of it! /sobs/

"Oh my god I love your cosplay." Said to someone with a not absolutely perfect cosplay.

This stuff, even at its most basic levels, is nerve wracking, expensive and time consuming. I never understood that until I went for the easiest tier possible and found myself losing my mind.
