We’ve added some much awaited improvements to the 2-Step Authentication here on FAKKU. These changes are sure to help many users here on FAKKU who have voiced their concerns with some of the lacking features of the 2-step authentication prior to this update.
2-Step Authentication Backup Code
If you have 2-step enabled, you now have the ability to generate a backup / recovery code. This unique code can be used to disable your 2-step authentication in the event of you losing access to the app on your phone.
To retrieve your recovery code please visit your
Security page and click
“Get Backup Code”.
We recommend storing this code somewhere safe where such as printing it or writing it down. Please note that once you use this backup code, a new one will be generated for you.
2-Step Authentication Remember Device
Upon logging in with your 2-step enabled account, you will be prompted with a new action: the ability to remember your device for 30 days. If you enable this, your device will not be prompted for the 2-step authentication passcode again for 30 days.
Profile Changes
Along with the improvements to the 2-step authentications, we have also made some changes to your profile pages. Read Later and Read History have been moved into the Collections tab. This change has been made due to some future improvements we intend to make to the profiles due to the additions of
Games and
Anime here on FAKKU.
We hope you enjoy these improvements and as always, thank you for your continued support here on FAKKU.
