Can you specify what type of file container your videos are in(mp3, mkv, avi, etc)? As well as the media player and whether or not you use CCCP.
Or are you streaming them?
It's a common occurrence with streaming media. Try pre-buffing them completly and don't jump around the video. May or may not help.
If you're talking about playing videos from your hard drive then the problem is most likely with your cpu having a hard time and not the audio. Big files coded in h264 can easily cause that. The CoreAVC codec can take of some weight off your cpu but don't ask for it since it ain't free. Otherwise search for files in smaller resolution.
its in mkv format and the only way for me to play it is to convert it into a mp4(psp) or 3gp format. I dont think the problem is in my converter because the other videos that i have converted is normal.. not unlike the videos in mkv format.
Why do you convert it to mp4? Sounds like a downgrade to me.
Personally i use the KM Player http://www.kmplayer.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=25
He comes with integrated Codecs, so you dont even need the CCCP Codec Packet.
