How do you make a gif your avatar?

You upload it as usual?

Go to Settings.

And click on the upload button under the bold Upload Avatar from your computer text.

After that you select the gif you have on your computer.

Then you wait for it to be uploaded. Accept. And wait a few minutes for it to show on your profile.

Automatic resizing does not like animations, so if it's larger than the allowed avatar size, you have to crop or resize it yourself before uploading.

Alright the avatar size was the issue. Thanks for the help.
