Because fakku isn't amazon. They don't have warehouses around the globe. Shipping cost real money if you don't have a deal with usps/ups/fedex on bulk shipping. Even if i send fallenwing13 order to Spain it would be 100$. Guessing each book was 2 ish ibs and shipping it as 20ibs. 9.07kilos.

United Publications (UK) is cheaper for me. I tried to place an order. Around 50€ on U.P. and 65€ on Fakku for two books. No digital tho.

Ditto. was gonna order 5 books and pre-order 3 others (all paperbacks with digitals). but they ain't on sell. Buuut thar is two that have caught my interest in the staff pick, so I guess I will settle with em.

I think part of the problem is even if those people did support Fakku, if free shipping was provided, it would be a net loss and it would be worse than if they didn't support at all. Yeah, a lower threshhold than $250 would have been better, but the situation stands.

Shipping is really difficult internationally for small companies (basically anyone not Amazon). Last year we lost money on the free shipping deal which is why this year we have a minimum.

That said, I just lowered the minimum to $150, hope that helps

Could only do the digital contents though, since trying to ship paperback to my country would land me in jail.

Had been with Fakku way back during the days when contents were free. I could remember all the NGE doujins you guys had, big fan of that. Now that I have a stable (albeit humble) income I would like to show my support and gratitude in return. Looking forward to be buying more books and doujins from you guys.

I just want you to know, since now I can buy the stuff I wanted, I saw that one of the books that I wanted is half price right now, so I decided to buy another of those half price books so I went back to the original price.

I was excited to order a few books (ones that have been on my wishlist for a while), but two of them are currently sold out (Non-Virgin and Ima Real). They actually sold out while I was in the checkout process, so that's some pretty terrible luck for me. I hope they're re-printed later. :(

This is a great deal, but since UPS is the method of choice for free shipping, does anyone know if it will incur brokerage for those outside of the US? I normally choose standard post for my shipping needs, since that has a lower chance to get his by additional taxes. Since it's UPS, and given the cost of the shipment itself, if I did order $150 worth of books for the free shipping I'd be worried as to what I'd have to pay at the door. Honestly, it'd probably be better for me if I just made several smaller order through standard post if that was the case.

I want to take advantage of this special, but given the $150 requirement, the fact that two of the books I most wanted are out-of-stock and I'd be required to add another two to my order that I likely wouldn't have purchased otherwise, and UPS being the only choice for free shipping (let's be honest, it's a 99.99% chance I'll probably have to pay a nice amount of money at the door due to their obscene brokerage fees), and I think I might pass on it (as much as I regret to say). :(

Mounties will collect 8 to 24 cad depending on what province. Maybe.
