There's a hidden feature on this site that's when you close a text between the symbols I used on the title, the text is hidden and can only be seen by quoting the post. . Well, the problem is people actually does uses those symbols for formatting occasionally, just like I've seen it's extremely common to make faces with them (I do use those faces, too!). So I was wondering if it's possible to change the tag from a single pair to three pairs connected, so people can actually uses the symbol (two pairs are actually used on some extremely rare cases, so three). Or you can add [hidden][/hidden] tag actually rather doing automatic code with symbols.
I don't say it just because, actually I've seen so many posts bugged (specially from new users) and people quick editing them because they forget that this is the unique site in the whole Internet where you can't use those symbols, lol. Some new users doesn't understand why their post "bugs", so you can see from time at time posts left bugged for the record.
Oh, we have HTML for the posts allowed then? Ok, I confirmed myself that, interesting... Actually seems broken as the HTML self deletes after posting.
It should be said somewhere at the side of the post's box (if it will remain, bugged like it's now it should be deactivated, too), though. It's still troublesome and useless for most the userbase to practical effects. I've seen this on one site and kinda works: make a HTML icon above the post box that can be toggled ON or OFF, default OFF. Optionally at clicking the button changes you to full HTML edition for the post.
Edit: So it doesn't delete anymore. But if you make a post with the invisible text on its own it fucks up your sig in your post.
Or at least it did mine.
