changing avatar help

i am new to the forum and was wondering if you had to have a certain number of posts before you could change the avatar from the default one

Click the profile button on the top and then hit the "Edit Profile" button and then push the choose file button and pic the picture you wanna use.

thanks i did not see that due to one of my sidebars
