Changing ip for modem users

Alright well I'm not tech wiz so I don't know if this is only for verizon modems(that's what I've got) but all I do to change my ip is turn off/unplug the modem and turn it on again and I've got a new ip.This is useful for getting by megavideo/megarotic video player and download time restrictions. Hope I've helped out a few people that have trouble with programs that change ip and whatnot XD.
