Clarification on search function

I would like to post about some inconsistencies on the search function, but I am yet unsure of how it was made to be used. If I am wrong on something, please enlighten me. That being over, let me start.
It seems that the Search function is missing out on most of the recent manga, as well as some of the oldest ones; in-between manga missing is inconsistent. When some are searched by the name, they can't be found (e.g. "A virgin's Rape and Despair" series), yet if we search by tags, are found (e.g. Second page of Netorare tag for "A virgin's Rape and Despair 3") As noted, almost 100% of the main page doujinshi can't be found by search. As I said, I'm unsure whether this would be intended in any way, or is some kind of malfunction of the feature. That's why, I would like a clarification on how it works, if i am mistaken (maybe it would fit into request forums?). If though it really is a malfunction, consider this a report on that.

[color=#2e1a6b]The search results have a problem with new content where anything posted after a certain date doesn't show up. I made a thread about this in November when the search results where omitting everything after August. Right now, the search seems to be ommitting everything after Dec 31st
