Deleting Avatar

I'm sorry but for some reason, I can't delete nor replace my avatar.
I already checked the box and tried uploading something else over and over
again but it still shows me the old avatar when it asks me to resize it
and the graphics are even more pixelated in the preview.
Does someone know why or do I need to wait till it changes by itself o: ?
