That's not actually correct. He asked what waifu is in general, not what the game is.

Waifu just means wife in Japanese. So you would say, Taiga is my waifu.

To go even further back, the term "waifu" was immortalised in an episode of Azumanga Daioh, where Kimura sensei was asked about the picture of his wife... if I did not remember wrongly.
