I know this is an old necroed thread but it looks to be the best place to say this.

I would like to say that people who neg rep you for simply pointing out the truth should themselves automatically get a negative reputation.

Also I don't give a damn about my reputation on Fakku, I don't mainly come here to be social, I come here to fap to hentai. I only really got an account so I can have a favorites list, and buy the offical Fakku books.

Though that doesn't mean that I don't enjoy talking to people on the forums from time to time.

It's not like there's a limit to how many points I can make.

I have rep turned off so I didn't even notice lol.

How is making a broad assumption about someone who you know nothing about and who last posted here 3 years ago "pointing out the truth"?
He posted his opinion on the subject, someone didn't agree or liked that opinion or the fact that a 2012 thread was necro'd and neg rep'd him.
You want to see someone "punished" by expressing their opinion through reputation but not someone expressing their opinion with a post? Why?

The funny thing about truth is that there are often different perceptions of a particular situation, and to a particular person what they perceive is their truth. For example someone can call out a community for being cunts and it would be true, that particular community is shit. But the community may also have some truths to dish out to the person in retaliation, like being a shitposter who rubs people up the wrong way and gaining negative attention in the first place.

If you really don't care about rep you wouldn't have even suggested an auto-negrep system based on complex human concepts and personal morals. (Which is both dumb and impossible). "Punishing" someone for disagreeing with a post without explicitly stating why is pretty asinine.
