Login Password Glitch

when ever i log in, it prompts me to enter a new password. if i avoid this by clicking any of the red bar menu option, i can get to my profile and am in fact already logged in. why does it keep asking me to change my password?

If you don't mind, would it be possible for you to make a slight change? Do keep us updated if the same issue crops up after the amendment, so that the IT-savvy staff members can identify and rectify the problem.

i made my account and went dormant for a while and forgot my password, so i had to get a new one sent to my email. once i was back in, i changed it again to one i'd remember rather than the computer generated assigned one.
maybe i'll change it again to see what happens.

i only just got around to changing my password, and it no longer asks me to change it after loging in.
