Now you added a third magazine. How bout some free reading?

Since you added a third magazine. I was thinking that you could release the first six magazine for free. So people could read them. Maybe then some people may buy a subscription.

If I had to guess, free stuff won't be available until the end of Q4 or beginning Q1.

That's what Jacob has usually talked about when mentioning free content as well.

It really hasn't been long since the service started--6 months. And as has been mentioned in other topics, Netflix and Steam were much different and worse when they started operations and, while that doesn't necessarily excuse Fakku, we should definitely cut them slack. I mean, hell, they already added another magazine. That's definitely progress in such a short amount of time. I have faith that Fakku can grow into something really great.

Schweet. Was wondering when the next mag would come. Hopefully he's able to find some more staff (if he hasn't already), so the load isn't too much on the current staff (if only smol)

Keen to see it grow from here.

ot; I think he said he'd be looking into a rotation of free content at some stage mid this year. They had a trial of limited free content before for valentines day, so I imagine they're still sussing out code.

Not really sure what to think here. There is already enough content in the library to offer one free access chapter per day for a whole year. As long as there's a constant stream of new content, there wouldn't be any shortage to speak of. It's just a matter of how flexible FAKKU can be when exposing their content to the public without charge. Perhaps the Valentine's offering was an experiment to gather data about this. We'll find out soon enough.

If you follow us on Twitter, we already put up 2-3 preview images for each chapter, which adds up to 100+ pages per month. It's really just a matter of coming up with a good way to offer previews and free content on the site, and then implementing it (which I believe is the main bottleneck).
