Old McSearch

Sometimes when I use le search, the page will be le really really long and it makes firefox freeze.

Le example, copy and paste this into the search: Am I the only Black person on Fakku?

Start using Chrome bro.

It is a problem when it brings up incredibly long stories from Writing & Lemons or tl;drs from IB; it doesn't freeze up in Firefox for me, but it makes the actual searching pretty difficult. It is also a lot broader and generally less effective than the old search, though I don't know quite how you could fix that.

I'm not too fond of the new search either.

Revert to the old search that showed the topic header only and incorporate a nifty button that'll take you to the respective post (if a post search is ordered).

why doesnt it sort by date?

Personally, I liked the google search we had. However, I would guess the new search is a work in progress therefore let the progress work.
