i realize that there is another user here by the name of Kross, and i would like to change my name to another out of courtesy to aformentioned person.

Just PM one of the Admins (Mattarat or Jacob) with your new name and they'll change it.

Assuming that your previous name hasn't been taken, there should be no problem changing it back. But please, don't go requesting name changes every few weeks or so.
