The discord is pretty dead recently despite having 16.2k members. I don't see any world where that's acceptable imo. So I think Fakku should start promoting the discord through twitter and the site, speaking of the site, I think the small discord icon is the only mention of it. Which is better than before where there was nothing lmao.
-mention it more on twitter or the site
-free giveways (could do something with reactions maybe idk)
-fakku hosted events through discord
I know fakku has had trouble sponsoring streamers on twitch but why not try to do something through discord. Could be QA, watching Jacob play Nier Automata (again), maybe hosting some sort of game show/ video game tournament and inviting Trihex, animeman or whatever to it. There's a lot of features you could take advantage of through discord or this site to make that happen.
-Most of the messages on discord are people asking if the site is down.
I don't understand the legal difference between telling people on the 404 page that you're using a bad vpn vs fakku staff doing it on discord. Just seems like it would do everyone a favor if you just told them instead of going through the extra steps.
I hope with these steps, it could promote more growth and community involvement on fakku, cuz its been stagnant for years.
