I find that on some "broken" images, like ones from imgur, require to be viewed in a seperate tab and then "Http://" added to the address bar for it to work.

Image-shack, etc. don't display on FAKKU because these sites deny requests from FAKKU (for whatever reason).
If you copy & paste the URL into a separate tab instead merely clicking on the link than the referrer will no longer be FAKKU so the request will be fulfilled.
