Do you have the Hen-tie one? Mine is all cracked, because the cheap materials the shirt company uses.
If it's the print, could be result of high heat drying (from personal experience, it can melt screen printed graphics/wrinkle them). Fabric itself could also be a factor.
Protip to all shirt owners: always wash/dry inside out, cold/cold wash, and about medium heat dry.
Sadly, yeah, pilling will occur on these Gildan shirts no matter how well you treat them in a machine: I have to wear one for work from this brand, and within a month it looked like crap.
